About World Smart Cities Forum The World Smart Cities Forum (WSCF) is a non-profit organization based in London and New York City, founded in 2019. WSCF is dedicated to assisting central governments and municipalities in developing people-cantered smart cities through innovative and sustainable growth strategies. Core Business Areas Developing Smart City Master Plans – Crafting strategic urban development frameworks. Supporting High-Tech Companies – Fostering innovation through an open tech cluster, ‘Tech Sandbox’, to provide cutting-edge smart city solutions. Scaling Up Investments – Raising funds to accelerate the growth of companies within the Tech Sandbox. Additionally, WSCF organizes the ‘OXYGEN Summit’, an international platform where mayors and governors discuss the implementation of the Global TWIN CITIES Initiative—a collaborative smart city project connecting 21 megacities worldwide. The OXYGEN Summit was first introduced in South Korea (2017-201G) before its official launch in Liverpool, England (July 2023). Over the past two years, the event has also been hosted in New York City, Incheon (South Korea), and Nanjing (China).
